600/1000V XLPE insulated PVC sheathed unarmoured cable is designed for fixed low voltage power distribution.
It is suitable for industrial plants, commercial buildings, infrastructure projects, power distribution systems and general electrical installations.
The XLPE insulation provides reliable electrical performance and thermal stability for low voltage power circuits.
The PVC outer sheath provides general protection for fixed installation environments.
As an unarmoured cable, it is suitable for installations where additional mechanical protection is not required or where protection is provided by tray, conduit, trunking or other suitable installation methods.
It is not recommended for direct burial without suitable mechanical protection.
The cable should be selected according to voltage rating, number of cores, conductor size, installation method and project specification.

FAQ
What is this 600/1000V XLPE PVC unarmoured cable used for?
This cable is used for fixed low voltage power distribution.
It is suitable for industrial plants, commercial buildings, electrical installations and protected cable routes.
What standard does this cable follow?
This cable is designed according to BS7889 requirements.
Is this cable armoured?
No. This is an unarmoured cable.
It should be used where mechanical armouring is not required or where protection is provided by the installation method.
Can this cable be directly buried?
Direct burial is not recommended unless suitable mechanical protection is provided.
For direct burial applications, an armoured cable such as XLPE/SWA/PVC may be more suitable.
Can BURYCABLE supply BS7889 unarmoured power cable?
