APPLICATION

ZPGU provides local signalling connections within trackside equipment shelters and associated equipment wiring. The cable uses 1.0 mm² class 1 solid copper conductors arranged in twisted pairs, with PE insulation and an inner PE sheath. A tape screen and tinned copper drain wire provide the screening arrangement beneath a PVC or LSZH outer sheath. Pair count and finished diameter determine the space needed at equipment entries.

KEY FEATURES

  • 1.0 mm² solid copper conductors with a nominal diameter of 1.13 mm.

  • One, two, three, seven and fourteen-pair arrangements in the dimension schedule.

  • Tape screening with a dedicated drain wire and PVC or LSZH sheath options.

SELECTION NOTES

Select the pair count from the circuit schedule and identify the sheath material for the installation. Coordinate screen continuity and drain-wire termination with the equipment design. Use the listed overall diameter for entries and supports, and the 8 times static or 16 times dynamic bend-radius figures when planning the route.
